museumofusefulthings: Saw these here. It made me think of how difficult it has become to find well made hard-working brushes; brushes made from responsibly sourced materials - not plastic. Thankfully, we still have some great ones up for offer. Check them out here.  You will find a great Shoe Shine Brush, Scrub Brush and Nail Brush. Good, traditional, wood and bristle brushes that will outshine the plastic varieties any day.  SCRUB BRUSH: Made in Sweden by visually impaired craftsmen, these beautifully constructed brushes harken back to better times when things were made to last. Suggested use is for scrubbing dirt from hearty vegetables, but its applications are boundless. Oil treated Birch and fiber blend. Hand Stitched. Measures: 5” long x 1 ½” wide x 1 ½” high.  SHOE SHINE BRUSH: Cleaning leather shoes adds greatly to their shelf life. Buff out the wear and tear on your best boots, or put a shine on your favorite flats. This shoe shine brush will help you do both. Solid wood handle. Boar’s hair bristles. Made in China. Comes boxed.  Measures: 8” long x 2” wide x 1 ½” deep.
